About the event

Spring is the start of foraging season on PEI. This hour-long illustrated presentation will walk through the seasons and feature some of the easy-to-find and use plants and mushrooms you might have right in your own backyard! From popular wild foods such as Fiddleheads and Serviceberries to lesser-known (but delicious) options like Alder Pepper and Evening Primrose Root, this presentation packs a lot into an hour. As a bonus, I'll toss in some beginner-level mushrooms. Anyone with an interest in wild foods (or PEI!) will learn something from this event. You might even be inspired to taste something new!

All are welcome to this event, and no registration is necessary.
