About the event
Join me at the 2025 Annual General Meeting of the Hillsborough River Association, a charitable non-governmental organization that does watershed enhancement work throughout the historic Hillsborough River. You can learn more about the group here: https://www.facebook.com/hillsboroughriverassociation/
The evening will begin at 7:00 pm with a short business meeting, followed by my Guest Speaker presentation. I'll be highlighting some of PEI's spectacular natural habitats, from old growth forests and ancient peat bogs, to coastal cliffs, sand dunes, and offshore islands. We'll explore why these areas are important, some of the interesting plants and animals found within them, and steps landowners can take to protect natural habitats on their own lands, with a focus on the Hillsborough River.
Admission is free, but donations to the Association are appreciated and memberships will be available at the door.
