About the event
We'll walk along one of the best Trout and Salmon rivers on PEI while identifying a range of edible and medicinal plants (and maybe a few mushrooms!). I encourage people to use ALL their senses in plant identification and so we'll touch, smell, and even taste a few. This site is a maintained trail over flat terrain. There are a few wet spots, but boots are not usually needed. Registration is via email to the PEI Woodlot Owners Association (peiwooodlotowners@gmail.com) and is limited to 15 people to ensure a quality experience.
