About the event

This day-long event features six local speakers including: the PEI Invasive Species Council, Knit Pickers, Jason Woodside, Kate MacQuarrie, Trout River Environmental Committee, and Soleil Hutchinson. An anazing array of topics will be explored, from oyster shucking, wool pellets, and gardens to bats & swallows, running a successful farm, and foraging. This event is free, and refreshement and lunch will be provided.


My presentation starts at 1:45 pm, and will highlight some of the common, edible plants and mushrooms around us with a focus on how to find, identify and use them.
